Buggles – Video killed the radio star (1979)

Ce bonhomme de neige n’est pas mon oeuvre mais celle d’un petit garçon qui jouait avec son grand-père aux bois de Vincennes, il y avait plein de bonshommes un peu partout, éphémères, ces hommes troncs sont souvent souriants. Celui de dessus m’a fait sourire avec sa feuille en guise de moumoute.

This snowman is not mine, but the artistic expression a little boy who was playing with the snow in the Vincennes park, with his grand pa. There were tuns of snowmen everywhere, all smiling and happy faces, but this one, with the leaf on his head, was just too cute.

A moi de jouer les bibendums dans la neige pour vous montrer ma tenue du jour. Contrairement à mon dernier billet, j’ai pu mettre mes petites richelieux noires, les talons faisant office de crampons pour ne pas glisser, juste le temps des photos.

My turn to be all stuffed in layers of clothes in the snow. Contrary to my previous post, I’ve been able to wear my black Richelieu shoes, the heels was kind helping me not to slip on the crazy snow! Just for the pictures!

Le manteau officier vous le connaissez déjà, aperçu ICI la première fois, associé à ma toque Balmain, je trouve ça lui donne un petit côté slave, accentué par ce magnifique collier plastron de chez Antik Batik, entièrement brodé à la main, monté sur du cuir, ce collier est une pure merveille, j’ai tout de suite craqué.

The military jacket, you already know from here the first time, and now, mixed with my Balmain chapka, it gives me a little bit of a nordic edge, highlighted by this gorgeous necklace from Antik Batik. Handmade, on a leather structure, this necklace is just fabulous, I couldn’t resist!

Une marinière en hiver, je collectionne ces derniers jours le côté marin d’eau douce. Je cherchais depuis déjà quelques temps, une marinière bien coupée, légèrement oversize, et c’est en fouinant sur Ebay que je suis tombée sur une boutique online revendant la marque Saint James. La plupart des pulls, tops, marinières vont jusqu’à la taille 52. J’ai reçu ma marinière en 3 jours, et je suis ravie.

Je lui ai déjà trouvé une multitude de look, finalement c’est une pièce hyper facile et ludique à avoir absolument dans son dressing. On la voit un peu partout sur la blogo, en boutique, etc, mais moi je n’avais pas encore dans mon dressing  THE pièce qui me satisfait pleinement. J’arrive avec plusieurs trains de retard, mais mieux vaut tard que jamais, et me voilà désormais comblée!

Stripes in Winter, I’m having a bit of a sailor revival here. I’ve been looking for a striped top for a while, with a good cut, slightly oversize, and wandering on ebay the other day, I ended up finding this shop reselling St James mariniere. Most of the articles are up to size 52 and I received it in 3 days, I was delighted!

I already found lots of different look to play with this, it’s in the end a very easy to use and mix piece and it’s a must in every dressing. It’s been quite famous on lots of blogs recently but for me it’s a recent acquisition because I had to find the perfect one!! I might be the last one on the trend but now that I have it, I’m happy!

Lorsqu’Alcide Rioche m’a contacté c’était pour me relancer. Eh oui ma foutue boite hotmail avait spamé son premier mail! Horreur j’ai failli passer à côté de ce talent! Et dire qu’il croisait les doigts pour que j’accepte!?! moi, modèle oversize qui bosse 3 milliards de fois moins qu’un modèle standard, c’est un comble, comment refuser? Quand j’ai découvert son univers, ses photos, j’ai tout de suite craqué, c’est si poétique.

Le thème du shooting était “Blanche Neige”, une blanche neige, différente , pas toujours souriante, insoumise.

Vous connaissez sûrement les photos d’Alcide Rioche, il a signé notamment la campagne de pub pour OCB.

When Alcide Rioche contacted me it was another try from him, because thanks to my damn hotmail mailbox, his first email ended up in my Spam folder! The horror, I almost missed a fantastic opportunity to work with him! Believe it or not, he was “keeping his fingers crossed” that I would agree to work with him! Me, plus-size model, who works 3 millions times less than a standard model, it was just unbelievable, how could I refuse?? When I discover his work, his photos, I instantly fell in love with it, it’s just so poetic!

The theme for the shooting was “Snowwhite”, but a different kind of princess, not always smiling, and not always the poor helpless thing…

Mais je ne vous ai pas oublié et pour ce premier week-end de mai, laissez moi vous offrir un bouquet de muguet un peu particulier.

Un bouquet nommé David Milh. Un photographe de talent avec qui j’ai eut le plaisir de travailler à plusieurs reprises (quelques photos visibles sur mon book).

Doué, sobre, calme, gentil, doux et patient, David Milh est un veritable artistes aux talents multi-facettes. Et surtout d’une humilité comme j’en ai rarement rencontré. Bref sans plus tarder, les derniers clichés réalisés en avril dernier.
