Un look du jour qui change un peu de ce que je porte habituellement. Je vous vante la couleur à haute dose ces derniers jours et là, badaboum, le noir a eu raison de moi.
L’effet Michou est tout de même plus fort que moi, en noir j’ai l’impression de ne pas exister.
Même avec ce F**** manteau!?! Allez-vous me dire? Et oui même avec un manteau Foofur!
Je suis dans l’amusement total avec cette tenue et c’est là que c’est intéressant. Je vous le dis souvent mais quand je m’habille j’ai besoin de m’inventer une histoire, comme un personnage que je me créé. Ca a toujours été comme ça, je crois que ça me vient de ma maman, elle avait un côté théâtrale avec les vêtements qui m’amusait beaucoup.

I am having so much fun with this outfit and that’s what’s interesting. I have often told you this, when I get dressed I need to create a story, it’s like I design myself a character. It’s always been like that, I think I’ve inherited it from my mom, she had a theatrical side when it came to clothing which really entertained me.
Donc le manteau, la moumoute bicolore est ultra chaude, d’ailleurs presque trop chaude pour ces journées automnales, mais qu’est-ce qu’il est drôle!
Dessous j’ai ressorti une pièce que j’avais déniché chez Re/Dress à New York, une friperie vintage grande taille que je vous avais recommandé. Une beauté que j’ai enfin pu accorder.
En fait dans cette tenue, tout s’est imbriqué comme si chaque pièce attendait l’autre.

Underneath I wore a dress which I had unearthed at Re/Dress in New York, a plus size vintage store that I have recommended before on the blog. A beauty that I was finally able to match. In fact in this outfit, everything is intertwined as if one piece was waiting for the other.
A mes pieds, et là il faut vraiment que je vous fasse un focus sur ces merveilles de salomés. Le modèle Harpe est une réédition des années 70, entièrement en cuir verni, j’ai rarement porté des souliers aussi confortables. J’ai très vite craqué pour une seconde paire, donc dès que je les réceptionne je posterai de plus amples détails. En attendant si vous désirez zieuter tous les modèles que la Maison JB Martin a réédité c’est par ici.
Côté chapeau, c’est l’addiction depuis bien longtemps, d’ailleurs j’ai acheté cette capeline il y a 10 ans, chez moi en Suisse, sans jamais avoir osé la porter là-bas. Elle n’a pas pris une ride et c’est presque une pièce vintage à présent.

The Harpe style is a reissue from the ’70s, in patent leather – I have rarely worn a more comfortable shoe. I instantly gave in and ordered another pair, so I will post more details once they have arrived. As far as the hat, it’s an old addiction, in fact I bought this hat 10 years ago back home in Switzerland, and never tried to wear it while I was living there. It’s completely unworn and almost a vintage piece at present.
