Chaque coup de colère est un coup de vieux,
chaque sourire est un coup de jeune
I was right in the middle of sorting out my dressing room when I realized I had a nice pile of jeans that I never wear because they’re all way too long.
Either they’re waiting to be shortened properly by a professional or they’re simply doomed to be completely forgotten on the last shelf of my dressing room. We might as well consider them lost forever.
But suddenly, I had a brilliant idea. Or more likely it was that I have seen this here a lot here and there. I thought to myself : I too can have my perfect little pair of cut out at the ankles pair of jeans.
I didn’t invent anything, it’s dead easy, you put your jeans on, you roll them up until your malleolus (the ankle bone) and you take them off. All you have to do then is cut out the part below the fold on both legs. To finalize, you fray the rim a little bit. That’s all there is to it, you’ve got yourself a new pair of jeans !!
With my very dark-blue jeans, I’m wearing a lace t-shirt from the current H&M+ collection as well as a nightdress from H&M regular collection, (french) size 44, very extensible, perfect to layer with your little jumpers and tunics.
Yes, oh I know, I wasn’t going to end this post without specify that no, I wasn’t cold bare feet, but don’t worry the car was waiting for me close by, I was just practising for springtime. And it’s rather nice to see some skin, aren’t you sick of the opaque tights ?
So, are you also going to cut out your jeans to give them a second life ?
