Je suis une chineuse, j’adore fouiner en brocante, lors de vide-grenier et autres puces. Et il m’arrive souvent de dénicher des accessoires que je recycle.
Dans cette tenue, du chapeau à la plume de chasse en passant par le collier et la valise en python, tout a été chinés avec attention. Ouvrir l’oeil et le bon, c’est un jeu, du recyclage intéressant comme j’appelle ça. Des objets avec un passé qui retrouvent une nouvelle vie.
Dans les nouveautés, plusieurs choses, les bottines tout d’abord. Je les avaient essayé grâce à Audrey, lorsqu’elle était venue à Paris pour son portrait des “Jolies BB“. Des mois que je cherchais des bottines dans ce style, après avoir craqué comme tout le monde (ou presque) en 2008 sur les Suzan chez Chloé. Celles-ci sont bien différentes mais très inspirées, ultra confortables, d’un cuir doux et souple.
Ah et ce maxi blazer, issu de la collection actuelle chez Monoprix, entre le manteau et le blazer, j’adore sa coupe ample, taillée, aux manches 3/4. Petit rappel, Monoprix propose la grande majorité de sa collection jusqu’à la taille 48 et ça taille grand.
I love looking for antique things, old things, in fairs, or antique fairs etc… Sometimes, I end up finding accessories that I recycle.
In this outfit, from the hat with the feather, to the necklace and the python luggage, everything is second hand. It’s all about opening the right eye are the right time, like a game, it’s “interesting recycling” like I call it. Objects with a past, that found a new life again.
In the new stuff, many things, and the boots first. I tried them on thanks to Audrey when she came to Paris for her photoshoot in the “Jolies BB“. Months I had been looking for those, after having fallen in love with the Suzan from Chloé in 2008 (live everyone else I guess!). These ones are different but very inspired by the original, and on top of it very comfortable with a soft leather.
And this maxi blazer, from the current Monoprix collection, is a mix between a proper coat and a blazer. I love the wide loose cut, with the 3/4 sleeves. Just a reminder, but the Monoprix’s collections go up to 48 for many articles and it’s a big 48.
Enfin nous entamons mardi la Fashion Week de Paris, et à cette occasion Arte propose une semaine spéciale mode (info ici) avec du 28 février au 6 mars des soirées spéciales modes présentées par Karl Lagerfeld. A la fin de cette semaine, le concours Arte Fashion and the city prendra fin, je vous remercie pour vos derniers votes, votre soutien. And finally, on Tuesday, this is the Fashion Week in Paris, and for this occasion, Arte is doing a whole week of evening programs about fashion from the 28th of February to the 6th of March, hosted by Karl Lagerfeld. At the end of this week, the competition Arte Fashion and the city will finish, and I’d like to thank you all again for your support, and your votes.
