A New York les taxis sont jaunes, à Londres ils sont noirs
et à Paris ils sont cons.

Je suis en plein down, blues de New York, à force de trier mes photos encore et encore, Paris me semble tout gris et triste. Pourtant j’aime la ville où je vis mais New York a un côté vivant et coloré que j’apprécie beaucoup surtout en hiver.
Comme par exemple ces taxis jaunes, ne sont-ils pas fabuleux dans ce décor? Une touche de peps reconnaissable de loin. Je n’ai jamais compris pourquoi à Paris les taxis ne sont pas uniformisés par une couleur ou une forme. Alors du taxi jaune vous allez en voir lors de cette avant-dernière session new yorkaise.
Pour trancher avec le blanc et noir de mon top Mickeal Kors, je pose en plein Broadway! D’ailleurs Faustine si tu me lis, quand tu m’as offert ce bandeau juste avant mon départ pour New York, tu m’avais dit: “c’est pour Broadway”! Et bien voilà, ton bandeau en cuir clouté à Broadway! En espèrant que c’est un signe, qu’une voie royale s’ouvre devant toi, car tu as beaucoup de génie (Atelier Faustine Rome*).
I’m so down, I have the New York blues, because I’ve been looking at all these pictures again and again, Paris seems grey and sad. Mind you, I love my city, but New York has this very “alive” factor that I quite love, especially in the Winter.
Like, for example, these yellow cabs, aren’t they fabulous? It’s a flashy happy touch of color that you just know, even from afar. I never quite understood why the taxis in Paris are not all the same as well, either through the same color or car, or anyting. So be ready, this post will be full of yellow taxis from NY!
To contrast with the black and white of my Michael Kors top, I take a pose on Broadway! And Faustine, if you read me, when you gave me that headband before I left for N.Y. and said “it’s for Broadway!”, well you were right, this is for you, me and my leather and nails headband on Broadway! Let’s hope it’s a sign, the royal highway to success for you because you’re so talented! (Atelier Faustine Rome*).
